Really love everything about this mouse the only complaint I can think of is the software is what retains the mouse settings. Minor annoyance if you have a slower computer at startup or if for some reason the software did not start. Battery life is fantastic usually lasts me a few weeks with lighter use, fine tunable dpi is a step up over my old mouse that only had 3 settings, and personally it feels great in my average size meat claws. This mouse is great for everyday use and for gaming. I think the best part about this mouse is that you can use it while charging which means there is no downtime for using it. The only little annoying thing is that if you have it to turn off after a minute or two the dpi when you come back takes like a second or two to go to the settings you have it on. It doesn't bother me and I don't know how to fix it but if that will annoy you that would be the only "con." Overall super great mouse and reminds me of the razer death adder only better. This was a direct replacement for one that had exceeded its click life after 3 years and was starting to double click on its own occasionally. Battery life is great and it comes with a long charging cable or the option for wireless charging if you want to pay for the lightning mouse-pad. Only problem is the G-hub software is buggy as hell and they surprisingly do not respond to it's errors. It's what you expect from a logitech mouse. Great if you get it on sale and if you're not that top .01% that needs that $200 pro version.Own both the original G703 w/3366 and this new ver w/Hero sensor. Difference are DPI increases from 12k to 16k max and longer battery life mostly. I heard debate that the 3366 is a better sensor, however, do not feel the difference on accuracy and latency. However, I also use MX Master when not gaming for its hyper-scroll wheel and overall more comfortable shape. Gaming wise there is no contest, as the G703 is simply more accurate, faster, and even mouse scrolling is noticeably smoother (tested and verified w/240Hz monitor). It has has weight that you can add optionally if one feels mouse is too light. There are RGB lights on wheel and logo (@palm area) which can be light sync and turn off if desired to save battery. Thank you for reading my review.A little pricey for a mouse but it is stylish and the browser back/forward buttons saves a lot of scrolling time. The added weight is a nice feature. It's comfortable. My hands usually get sweaty but I haven't had that problem with this mouse which is great.I couldn't get the lights to match my HP Omen lights exactly but it came close. The battery life seems really good. The charging point is a little weird but seems nice and tight and won't get loose over time.It works instantly with every computer I've plugged it into.Good tactile, very comfortable with hand. Recommend.I only wish it lasted longer but it’s not like I’m using it for 25+ hours at a time. Other than the battery life which is easily fixable by just charging it for like 30 minutes it’s a good mouse it doesn’t hurt my wrist or joints to use this and I’d probably get another one tbhonly used for 4 days and it started double clicking. theres a certain spot on the left mouse button where it does it almost every click..... worse mouse I've bought in years, my g203 last 5 years!EDIT: 3 months in on my second replacement, the right button decides when it wants to register or not... i play FPS games and when holding it down to aim it sometimes likes to flicker on and off aiming. which sucks.... i only use logitech stuff so it's only using 1 kind of software. and i love all their products... but all their mice switches break after a few weeks or months...The mouse works like advertised with low latency response. Though still noticeably slower than a wired mouse, still easily useable in all gaming situations. Feel and build quality is great too.BUTThe Logitech G HUB software that controls the inputs of the mouse has enough problems that make it nearly un-useable.Almost daily something goes wrong with the software that will force me to stop what I am using and fix the piece of trash. These include:1. Randomly crashing and resetting my DPI(sensitivity) settings.2. Randomly freezing leaving a blank splash screen stuck on my screen and only restart PC fix.3. Randomly deleting all my profiles, again buttons, DPI all was gone (happened 3x in the past week)4. Macros set up with the mouse will sometimes endlessly loop for no reason forcing me to end task the software.5. Software decides to completely become non-responsive and forces a re-install. (again goodbye settings)Almost every day I have owned this mouse some kind of software problem has come up and forced me to waste time fixing it.Coming from the Logitech G305, the G703's size suits my palm/claw hybrid grip so much more. Clicks feel and sound responsive and deliberate, without sounding too loud. Scroll wheel is a little mushy, but overall still feels decent.Battery life has been great and charging with the included cable is no hassle. No negatives with the wireless sensor, no discernible delay.Best mouse I've owned out of the previous:Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0Logitech MX510Logitech MX518Razer DeathAdderLogitech G305I bought this mouse to replace my 10 yo Logitech WOW MMO gaming mouse. I watched all kind of reviews on YouTube and decided to buy this one because it was very similar to the G Pro, had a similar shape and size, the latest Logitech sensor technology, was wireless and cost 82$ less then the G Pro. Seemed like a good quality/price ratio.I started using the mouse and it was great initially. Nice feeling in hand, precise, sleek, buttons and scroll wheel perfect, looks good, lighter, nice RGB, huge improvement over my 10 yo mouse. Then I started playing POE, and that's where I realized the middle button under the scroll wheel I am using extensively in gaming is so hard to press I just can't press it. I'd say the force required to press it is at least 10x more then regular button. Impossible for your finger to adapt to this difference when switching buttons. Also you need to be perfectly in line for it to work. If your finger is slightly angled to the right or left of the wheel it won't press. Also the wheel is big and extrudes more outside the mouse then on other mice, which forces you to move your finger farther back, reducing even more the lever making your finger weaker. After one night of playing I missed clicked 95% of my middle button click, the 5% I managed to click where lagging a lot, and I had huge cramps to the finger. Actually with my lose handle gripe on the mouse, when I press the button my hand raises up instead of the button pressing. So I need to really pre-grab the mouse way tighter before pressing the button and really hitting it hard. Really bad.So if you are just using this mouse in windows and don't use the middle button it's a great mouse. But as a gaming mouse where you need all the buttons this mouse is horrible.I replaced it with the Razer Viper Ultimate which is an awesome mouse. Even though the middle button is slightly harder to press then on my 10 yo mouse, it’s not significant and after a night of playing I did not feel it. GG RAZER!I used to avoid wireless stuff like the plague but these days it's advanced a lot and there's nothing to lose with ditching the cable, at least with logitech. The battery on the lightspeed version lasts a LONG time! So long it makes the wireless charging mat look stupid and useless because you can easily charge this to full in a few hours and it will last at least a weak with heavy usage. Not only is that convenient but it means that the charging port will last much longer because i don't have to plug it in as much. I like the shape and simplicity as well. Overall very nice mouse and i enjoy using it.
