The digital display is very difficult to see. Frequently the analog hands are in the way which wouldn't be a problem but there are no indicators to see where the normal hour #'s would be. The light is absolutely worthless. Does absolutely nothing but shine light across the screen. Not down into the screen or as a backlight so you can see the time. The analog dials are very hard to see in the dark as well due to Both sides of the dial glowing rather than just 1 single dial. It is next to impossible to tell the time on this watch in the dark. It looks good during the day, but this watch has to be the worst one I've ever owned.Cuidado... No es la versión Japonesa la que envían. A mi me enviaron la versión China que tiene otro código (GA-400-1BDR). La calidad es inferior en todo sentido, el reloj Chino es gris oscuro no negro como el japonés, los colores rojos de la caja son tenues apagados, y la pantalla es muy difícil de leer. La versión China es de mala calidad. Te ofrecen la japonesa que tiene otro código pero te envían la China.La caja del japonés es de color azul y los manuales vienen en japonés, a mi me llego una diferente metalica y con instrucciones en múltiples idiomas. Consulté con un experto en relojes y confirmó que existen dos versiones de este reloj, el de mala calidad que dice Cased in China y que fue el que me enviaron como si fuera el japonés, y el de buena calidad que es el que se vende en Japón que dice Cased in Thailand. Tengan cuidado, esta tienda está despachando los relojes chinos. Es tan mala la calidad del chino que en la publicidad que va con el reloj el pequeño cartón sujetado con un hilo dice que su cronómetro es de 1/1000 cuando la verdad es que es solo 1/100. Le pusieron en la tienda un adhesivo sobre el código del chino y taparon el verdadero, el Chino, por el que supuestamente debería ser el BJF. Eso es un engaño. Como no estaba fallado el reloj no pude devolver, pero dejo la advertencia para que no caigan en este engaño.Actual watch is cased in China, not in Thailand as shown in the pictures, which means quality isn’t great. I really like the watch overall but the light function needs to be improved so you can see the digital time clearly at night.This is a very good watch the picture of the watch looks better then the watch itself. The light isn't very good there are no glowing arms the light dose not light up the numbers. It is so dim that you can only see the needles if you have good eyes but you can hardly see the digital.Have always been a big fan of the G-Shock brand name and this is probably my 5th or 6th watch from the company thus far. Simple and elegant, though I wish the LED light was a different color than orange. Great look and a sturdy design, making these watches last well over 5 or even 10 years before even deciding to buy a new watch. Would definitely recommend to others.Love the watch, back light is bad but you learn to deal with it. Looks great. Directions came in Japanese so I went onto UTUBE and watch a video. Very durable I'm in law enforcement and have slammed it a couple of times dealing with bad guys and not a scratch on it.giving it 4 stars because of the back light.Great looking watch. Not overly big as I thought which is great. Though I use reading glasses even without I'm able to read the analogue hands. The disappointment would be that there is no afterglow so making the watch unreadable during the night as the built-in light made it pretty hard to read anything unless I have my glasses on during the night. I think even with good eye sights at night it would slightly be difficult due to the way of the light, lighting them underside. The other disappointment is how the seller packs the item within a folded large thin padded envelope instead of a well-padded package giving it little protection to the crushed factory box during postage. Works wellVery nice watch!正直、この価格でこの機能とデザインは悪くはないんですが・・・アナログとデジタルのコンビはストップウッチ機能をすぐ使用したい場合は不向きですね。性能的には問題ありませんが針が下付近にある場合は針と重なり見にくいです。無論、針退避機能を活用していますが現在時刻によっては、針が退避する時間が多少掛かってしまいます。あとはベルトが少し残念な気がします（苦笑）[使用感想]■長所①デザインはまずまずです。好みもありますが、この価格でと考えると悪くないと思います。②ストップウッチ機能については通常の測定以外にカウント機能付きで使用できます。 ※例えば5秒前からカウントし始め自動でストップウッチ機能が始まります。 任意で最大60秒までカウントしてくれます。（残り3秒から電子音あり） 使い方によっては便利だと思います。③各ボタンは押しやすく出来ています。④フェイス幅は大きめで見やすいかと思います。⑤カウントタイマー機能も付いています。 ※カップ麺等の出来上がりを知りたい時等に使用すると便利ですね。⑥ベルトが樹脂 ベルトタイプなので冬場は手首が冷たくないのは良いですね。■短所①最初に書きましたがアナログとデジタルのコンビはストップウッチ機能等をすぐ使用したい場合は不向きですね。 ※一応、針退避機能は付いております。②ベルトに密着感がない感じがしました。 ※使用していると馴染むかもしれませんが・・・ 金属製のベルト時計を使用している方には満足できないかもしれませんね。③ライト機能ですがオレンジ系の温かみのある色ですが、とても暗いですね。 ※もう少し明るく出来なかったんでしょうか（苦笑）総合的にはまずまずな感じではないでしょうか。価格的にもコスパが良くデザインも中々だと思いますし機能も最低限使用する機能も付いていて良い製品だと思いますね。ただ改善の余地もあるということで★－1と評価とさせて頂きました。ちなみにベルトを変えてみました。写真も添付していますが裏面がレッドのタイプにしました。中々オリジナルな感じがして気に入りました。作りもしっかりしていますし問題ない製品でしたよ。多少、加工が必要でしたがきっちり取付けることが出来ました。※別注文ベルト製品G-SHOCK 交換用バンド 腕時計 ベルト 16mm ウレタン オリジナルバンド ブラック レッド参考価格2,500円興味のある方の為に一応、書いておきますね。
