Almost no notable break in. I purchased these to have the option to go trail riding after work. I usually start my commute with them and change shoes when i get to work but sometimes i forget and continue my day with them . They are very comfortable. I wanted a good quality everyday boot that still offered at least some trail protection. I have a few small gripes though .Although they are waterproof in heavy rain they will give up and then it's very tough to get them dry took over two days to dry out and my other gripe is the glued sole not stitched i feel that for 250 plus dollars they should be stitched as this will not be a boot you will have for decades. I submitted to my sole gripe because of how small the boot is compared to others it slides into shifts easily and peg feel is amazing. Which brings me to last gripe but i guess more so a trade off, no sole support so standing for awhile you feel it but overall satisfied with them because what they do they do extremely well .Very comfortable accurate everyday riding boot.
