Really like this mouse a lot it is my first MMO Mouse I ever owned and I am enjoying using this mouse. I was going to buy a standard 12 side button mouse but I felt like it was to much after borrowing my friend corsair mouse for a week bc I kept losing my positioning and it got confusing after a while using it bc the small buttons and no true center button so I went ahead and got this guy.Experience:I usually play FFXIV and ESO and it works great and love this mouse to death as it makes everything whole lot easier for those games and takes load off to be able to move more and have additional buttons to click but if you want this mouse to use for fps I couldn't give a good opinion/review other then you can make it work. I have use only 3 buttons generally for these types of games (melee, lethal and non lethal grenades actions) and had a fine time though but I can see potential of more uses though.Cons:If I had to give it a cons it would be its weight it is a heavier mouse so if that's a game changer I wouldn't recommend getting it especially for fps but I can say you will get used to it within a week and get stronger fore arms :p. The second thing would be I wish the software had mouse buttons instead of assigning button macros to the mouse like F1-F12, etc (Keyboard Buttons) I would of liked to be able to see Mouse button 1-10 that were for the mouse only buttons and not the keyboard that i seen in some wired mouses have.If anything this is a great for first timer looking for a Wireless/Bluetooth MMO Mouse that is simple to use or helpful to be able to work your way up to a 12 button mouse if you want to test the waters. I Honestly like this mouse and I did my research to get this and I don't regret it great product.Notes/Ideas:This is just a suggestion but for a future product idea for the company I would go for a 9 sided button version of this with texture (Mabey a slide adjustable like the wired corsair mouse). I think this would be a great idea for new mmo players looking for a mmo mouse that seems easy to use/press, I think 9 would be perfect number as it is less confusing for players to locate the buttons as they only need to know where the middle button is to know/remember where they are on the mouse and also not to miss click. Honestly these mouse buttons feel perfect already as they are size just right to click and know your position but I believe it can fit another row of 3 buttons at the bottom without a problem and help give more options for players to use while not worrying about a miss click or lose position of what button is which. After building my first PC, I was looking for a mouse that had a few more buttons to program for gaming. My first purchase was the Logitech G502 Hero wired mouse, but I couldn't get over how awkward the buttons were placed on the sides. The G502 mouse just didn't come natural to me, but after finding the G604, the button orientation on the left side of the mouse just made sense. Since they are set up in 2 rows of 3, they're easy to decipher, and easy to find. The two DPI buttons nicely merged in with the left click also fit the aesthetic of the mouse, and they can be reprogrammed through the software to whatever suits the task at hand.I think my favorite part about this mouse is the GHub software. It's incredibly easy to re-program the buttons on the mouse, and there are pre-made profiles that automatically pop up (almost) every time you install a new game. My only issue in not getting that pre-made profile was with Escape From Tarkov, but I decided to just alter the default settings for cases like this. Each button can be programmed as a key, a macro, a command, or even an action in software like Discord, OBS, or Overwolf. There are also 5 DPI settings that can be created and shifted between quickly if needed in fast paced gaming.Lastly, the battery life seems to be great. I've had the mouse for about a month now, and there are no signs of slowing down. A single double A battery does the trick, and the USB-A dongle fits nicely inside of the mouse if taken on the go. I have not noticed any lag in this mouse, and every movement/button press seems very instantaneous.Overall, I highly recommend this mouse for those of you who want those extra buttons on the side, but don't want to commit to one of those MMO mice that feature anywhere from 10-20 extra side buttons. This mouse is a perfect wireless middle ground. With daily usage for gaming/productivity, this mouse is still going on the same batteries it came with. I purchased as a replace for a G602 I purchased 8 years ago. The G602 still performed well and traveled internationally, but it started feeling kinda gross despite any amount of cleaning done on it.For anyone looking, this is a suitable replacement for the G602. It's not as stylish is the only drawback really. Movement detection and being able to hotswap between two devices works very well.Purchase Date: March 11th 2021After daily driving both the G502 & G602 for years, I splurged and got this nearly a year and a half ago. Zero RGB means that this puppy is nice and stealthy. The extra Bluetooth functionality is welcomed, but it's not great. That's a fault with Bluetooth, not this mouse though. The fit is excellent if you have big hands and it is the perfect weight for me. It is slightly more bulbous than the G502, but doesn't feel as big as the G602. The G4-G9 thumb buttons are in the perfect spot for quick access, IMO. The battery door in the palm area is held in place by magnets that do a good job of holding the door shut. The single AA battery lasts for a very long time, has a longer overall lifespan compared to fixed internal batteries, and can be swapped out in mere seconds.Build quality leaves a smidge to be desired. The material on the thumb rest came loose after a few months of use. Not enough to hinder performance, but it definitely got annoying. The biggest killer for me, is that my right click FAILED after 17 months of use and forced me to do a warranty claim. I normally despise doing warranty claims, but this mouse was worth it.If you can find it on sale, it's definitely worth a shot. The goodwill logitech generated with their legendary MX518 and K400 which I bought years ago (they still work) was immense. I wouldn't even consider any other brand for PC peripherals. So when it was time to upgrade I decided to go wireless and got their Performance MX mouse. Dead left click within 8 months.I thought it must be a bad unit; an outlier. Then I got this G604. Loved that it had internal memory and dual wireless mode (bluetooth/nano reciever) but sucked that it used yet another software (K400 uses Logi Options, Performance MX used Setpoint and this uses GHub)…Random disconnect issues within 6 months, dead middle click in less than a year.So now I'm convinced that Logitech is no longer interested in providing long-lasting products and instead expects us to upgrade every year.I'm giving them one last chance and going wired this time with the G402, hoping to recreate some of the MX518's reliability. After this dies, I'm going Razer or Chinese bargain bin!Dreaded double clicks started. Upgraded from a G602, went back to it when I noticed my single clicks started registering as doubles randomly. AVOID!I'm a huge fan of the G602, I've had one for years and finally thought it was time to upgrade to a new sensor. This seemed like the best option seeing as it just seemed like an upgraded version of the 602, but they changes a few things and it completely ruined it for me. It's slightly shorter with a higher arch, the plastic all around feels cheaper and the scroll wheel is really loose sided to side so even with just slight movements it clicks/thuds around all the time and it's really annoying. Also mine shipped with a seemingly broken sensor that has to be pushed into my mouse mat to register anything. Like I said, quite disappointing.Purchased it after using G602 for good few months. Was not dissapointed, the Infinite scroll wheel and two extra buttons on it were worth the upgrade.Rest the custamizability of the mouse with macros to do things like move between Chrome tabs, open new tab, close tab, forward and back makes working with browser an excellent experience and saves a lot of time. Also with profiles you can program those same buttons to perform different functions for different softwares, so I would say the mouse is an excellent productivity device and will save you tons of time.P. S. Sometimes the middle click button stops working randomly, like after 2-3 months or so, I believe due to dust settling in.Just turn the mouse upside down and move the scroll wheel as fast as you can and it would start working again. This is my first logitech mouse with the Hero sensor and so far i'm loving it.the battery life has lasted me 10 days so far with a poll rate of 1000 and dpi of 1600. battery has only gone down to half way. I've been using this mouse daily for 4 hours+, some days even longer than that.will update this review when the battery dies to see how long this mouse lasts with a 2800mah battery.Alot lighter than i thought it would be, but for those people who want it to be even lighter, you can alot buy those AAA to AA adaptors, but for me it's pretty lightweight already.only downside to this mouse would be the use of media keys and some functions when you have an app/game open and in focus. they just don't work for me. Never had this issue with my MX Anywhere 2S mouse.just something to keep in mind if you use your media keys/some other functions while ingame/focused on an app.overall love the mouse, super responsive.EDIT, so the mouse just died on me today and here is how long it's lasted me24,480 minutes408 hours17 days2 weeks and 3 daysPretty good
